Arekhandia Esele Gold
Lecturer, Edo State College of Nursing Sciences

Arakhamia Esele Gold is a seasoned Lecturer with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing Science from Ambrose Alli University. She is also Registered with the Nursing and midwifery council of Nigeria as a Registered Nurse, a Registered Midwife and a Registered Public Health Nurse. She went further to acquire a Post Graduate Diploma in Education from the National open university of Nigeria. She is happily married and blessed with a child.

She started her career as an intern Nurse at Central hospital Benin, after which she did her NYSC at same hospital. She became a staff nurse at Edi International hospital after her service year where she practiced for several years.

Her passion for her profession and zeal to transfer the knowledge she gained over the years to the next generation of nurses made her move to Edo state college of nursing sciences to train future nurses.  She is also a member of a non-governmental organization called youth spotlight initiative whose goal is to enlighten the general public on health-related issues, kicking against harmful practices as well as supporting the law against female genital mutilation.

Her area of interest includes Maternal and child health, pediatrics, Med-surg, research, mental health etc.
