Osayuki Jackson Obaseki was born to Chief Osayuki Obaseki the Pioneer Chairman of the Nigeria Football League and the Ohe of Benin Kingdom. His Paternal Grandfather was the Esama of Benin and a Member of the British Empire (MBE) and his paternal Great grand-Father was the paramount ruler of Benin Kingdom between 1897 to 1912 and also the Iyase of Benin. His Mother Dnss Taiba Obaseki nee Garrick was an industrious Business Woman whose Father, Barr David Ladipo Garrick an oxford trained Lawyer of Seirra Loane descent, was the first African to be Lawyer to Texaco Oversee and Cadbury United Kingdom. His Maternal Great-Grand Father Stanley Garrick was appointed to run Benin Postal service system in 1923.
Osayuki Jackson Obaseki started his formative years in Benin City attending Tiny Tots Nursery and Primary School. After which he proceeded to St. Gregory’s College, Lagos where he became the Senior Prefect, the first in 14 years from Art or Commercial Class. Osayuki finished his secondary school education in 1995 and that same year got admission into Ambrose Alli University to do a Diploma in Public Administration. In 1997 he got Direct Entry into a bachelor in Public Administration where he graduated from in 2000.
In 2002 Osayuki did his NYSC in Osun State with the College of Technology, Esa Oke. He completed his NYSC in 2003 and got employment with Bendel Breweries that same year. Not satisfied with Just a First degree Osayuki proceeded to the Prestigious Robert Gordon University to Study International Business in 2007 and graduated in 2008. Upon graduation he returned back to Nigeria in 2009 to work with Glo but lost the placement. In a twist of fate, he got appointed as an Assistant Registrar with the University of Benin in October of 2010 where he worked in several capacity including:
